Join Kathy Ran SYT on an exploration to flight. Wether you would like to teach Rocket Yoga or enhance your personal practice this weekend course will leave your feeling empowered and full of inspiration!
Kathy has done direct training with the founder and creator of Rocket Yoga and teaches weekly Rocket Yoga to those reaching new heights.
Larry Shultz developed the Rocket in order to make the more challenging poses of the Ashtanga Series' accessible to all levels. The Rocket Yoga sequences encourage a fun, playful, yet strong and invigorating yoga practice. In all, The Rocket gets you to a place of strength, flexibility and stamina more quickly, teaching you the art of modification and how to link breath, bandhas and movement to create flight.
The Rocket I is a reimagining of the traditional Primary Series of P. Jois' Ashtanga
The Rocket II follows Jois' Second Ashtanga Series
The Rocket III combines I & II for a fun, dynamic 90 poses in 90 minutes
This training will provide you with the foundation to begin to instruct or improve your own practice. You will learn 3 Rocket sequences, learn the 'art' of flying, sequencing, playing with arm balances and inversions as well as exploring the History & Philosophy of The Rocket & Larry Schultz.
This training is for yogis and yoginis with some experience practicing and instructing in either Ashtanga or Vinyasa, and who want to deepen their practice, learn the sequences (Bottle Rocket, Rocket 1 & 2 ) and transitions that make The Rocket so unique, creative & fun!
Limited to 10 participants. All materials provided. Certification provided with complete participation.

Sunday: 10:30 -17:00 - Rocket 3 Practice, Sequencing & Adjustments
09:30-10:30 Technique, pace / counts
10:30-12:00 Rocket 2 – Practice
13:00-15:30 Sequences, verbal & physical adjustments
15:45-17:15 Ending sequence including Savasana & adjustments
